The Party Predictor (3/8) - 2007

It's time for my 2007 review!

Winter Fiesta:
As I mentioned in a few of my party analyses, Club Penguin doesn't want to isolate any part of its worldwide audience, so this one's a toss up given its Spanish nature.  It was pretty popular in its day - it reappeared three years in a row.   So, I don't know.  Anything is possible.

Festival of Snow:
This party appeared twice under two different names - the Festival of Snow and the Snow Sculpture Showcase in 2009.  While it hasn't returned in several years, I think a reappearance is highly possible.  Club Penguin loves to get their players involved with the game and this is a great way to do it.  You never know.

Saint Patrick's Day:

Easter Egg Hunt:

Pirate Party:
While an island - wide party such as this has not happened in the pass few years, Club Penguin has not turned its back on parties based on swashbucklers.  Rockhopper's Quest, a party that took us off the island, revolved around pirates and took place in early 2012.  You never know if Club Penguin will bring it back.  It certainly is possible.

Cove Opening Party:

Summer Kickoff Party:

Water Party:
This is one of the most controversial party exclusions in recent years.  This party was beloved by many and greatly missed when it wasn't included in the 2009 party lineup.  Club Penguin hasn't shied away from wet parties though - the Underwater Expedition of 2012 served as hope to loyal fans of the party.  Also, there was technically a Water Party in 2010 in the Nintendo DS game "Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force - Herbert's Revenge".  While it only appeared in the handheld game and not online, it shows Club Penguin hasn't turned away from the idea.  I really hope this does return because I joined Club Penguin a month after the final online one and hope to experience it one day.

Camp Penguin:
This party was a once and done one.  I don't know if it ever will return though Club Penguin has had parties that take place in the woods after this - The Wilderness Expedition, anyone?  Awhile back a picture of the Dock with a cabin in it leaked online which could have pointed to a possible resurrection, but the idea may have been scrapped.  While I would love to see it, I don't if we will get a party like this again.

Fall Fair:
This is one of my favorite parties - I have attended all but one.  I believe many penguins agree with me, but 2012's outing raised some questions.  While all of the other traditional parties got new features and a face-lift, The Fair only changed in two ways - the prizes featured and the ability to save tickets.  Also, many of the prizes were returning, leaving veterans very little to get.  While the party wasn't horrible by any means (I still fully enjoyed it), its neglect of new features raised some eyebrows.  Did it mean it was the final fair?*  While I hope that is not true, I hope if it returns this year (which being a tradition, it probably will) it will expand and reach its full potential.  Even if it doesn't change, it is still a welcome tradition which I hope (and think) will continue for years.

On the other end of the spectrum, there is the question - why did the fall get chopped off of it?  Once again the explanation comes down to the worldwide audience.  Not all parts of the World are in the autumn season at the same time.  In other words - don't expect the fall to come back into the name in future years.

*Polo Field said Club Penguin was so busy planning the final months of 2012, that The Fair was left the way it was.  While this explanation has merit, it was a shock when it initially happened and I want to get this across.

Anniversary Party:
