An Uneven System

As I partially said in my Mascot Method post, Club Penguin could be a bit more even in some ways.

Earning Coins
How is it fair that you can earn 300 coins in Cart Surfer in three minutes when it takes a much longer time to earn the same coinage in Bits and Bolts?

CP on Twitter
Polo Field can't follow CP fan accounts but Spike Hike can?  I'm sure there's a good reason for this, but I haven't the foggiest of a clue why it works this way.

Items Per Gender
While this usually isn't a huge problem, sometimes the female or male demographic gets more items avaiable to buy in such catalogs as Penguin Style.

Releasing Content
This one can be a biggy.  One week there will only be a newspaper released.  The next, there's a new newspaper, a party launch, a new party catalog, a new Better Igloos catalog, a new Igloo Upgrades catalog, Rockhopper arrives, a new catalog from Rockhopper, and there's a new pin.  Spread out the content, please!

Free Items
Now, I know what you're are thinking.  "He's going to talk about how members get way more free items than non-members."  Well, no.  While that, along with member experiences at parties and such, can be problematic, there's another purpose to this section.  (I do also think it's gotten better in the past few years).

Take this for thought - at the Holiday Party 2011 there were twenty two free items released - the most for any party ever.  However, at the Puffle Party 2013, the Puffle Care Quest gave you six - not counting coins. But, when you take into account that the Puffle Care Quest is a permanent addition to Club Penguin, you can see there were zero free items given away.

Limited Time Plot-lines
Think about this - for weeks leading up to the Card-Jitsu Party you hear from Sensei constantly.  The Jitsu games are overflowing with people who want to play them.  Once the party hits things get turned up a notch, with ninjas being the only thing you think about when you log in.  But, once the party is over, Sensei shrinks back into the shadows.  The Dojos are substantially emptier than they were in the past few weeks.  Ninjas matter much less and the island moves onto the next big theme.

The Stage:
Here's a question - can you remember the last time there was a brand new play at the Stage?  If you don't count the small, parody play "My Awesome Life - The Herbert Story" in November 2012, it was "The Vikings That Time Forgot in February of last year - and even that recycled bits from other plays.  I'd personally like some new plays or at least updated scripts to old ones.

And then there's this matter - think about how many times the "Squidzoid vs. Shadow Guy and Gamma Gal" play has appeared.  Then compare that to all the times the first "Space Adventure" has appeared at the Stage.  It doesn't even compare.  In fact, the sequel to the latter stage play, "Space Adventure: Planet Y", has appeared more times than the original.  While these all are good productions, there needs to be more of a balance.

Color Equality
While, again, this isn't a major thing, sometimes I feel like my color, light blue, along with others are put back in the shade.  For example both Spike Hike and Aunt Arctic share the color green.  What mascot is light blue?  Not a single one (unless you are counting Daffodaily5).  Sometimes I also feel like the "models" (for lack of a better term) in the Penguin Style catalog skew towards the main colors of CP - black, red, yellow, green, and dark blue.  At least the My Penguin app icon bears my color.
