The 2013 Star Wars Dissection (2/3) Characters
This post will see me compare the CP versions of Star Wars characters with their film counterparts.
The Celebration Item
The Club Penguin Team was at the official Star Wars celebration in Germany over the weekend. Through their Twitter account, they shared screenshots and info with those (including me :( ) who could not attend. Through this, we found out you could meet, chat with, and take pictures with the Team, enter a game contest for a membership prize, get a free two sided poster, play CP, and get an exclusive free item. What exclusive free item, you ask? Well, Club Penguin didn't tell us. And, since it seemed no one in the Club Penguin Twitter Community was able to attend the event, we couldn't ask a participant.
So, it's a cold case, you say? Well, it could be. But, could a single bread crumb answer our question?

The Canon Conundrum
Ever since the first Marvel Takeover was announced in 2012, I have tried to figure out how other worlds fit into Club Penguin canon. In this post, I will try and figure that out for all previous takeovers and face how Star Wars fits in - which may be the hardest one of them all to explain.

When a Picture Doesn't Say a Thousand Words
As I was finding pictures for my "2013 Monsters University Dissection" posts (part one; part two), I stumbled upon a picture of a Club Penguin screenshot from what appeared to be a video game, with a similar art style to Game Day for the Nintendo Wii. Only problem is that, having completed all three C.P. video games one hundred percent through, I have never seen it before...

Review: Mech Mice Beta
Club Penguin players have had to wait for many things over the years. Sure, there are the monthly parties and catalogs, but then there are the things that have so much hype because they are years in the making.
One of those things has been Mech Mice, the new online game from the minds of former Club Penguin employees rsnail, Screenhog, and Businesmoose/MechMoose. It has been in the works for years and has now been released for beta testing. But was it worth the wait?

In Defense of Club Penguin
Disney tie-in parties have always been a touchy subject for many C.P. players. But the upcoming Star Wars Takeover seems to be the breaking point for many players. Never before has there been such controversy over a Penguin event (and that's counting that one time those two penguins fought over a fish at that one zoo - wow, that was heated ;p). But, here is why players shouldn't be so mad.

The Many Versions of Darth Vader
When Club Penguin crosses over with Star Wars in the near future, it will join a long line of established properties that have gotten a galactic makeover. So, what do penguins, an adult comedy, birds with an anger management problem, and talking cars have in common?
