The Home of our Favorite Website

Ahhh, Kelowna, Canada.  It's the place where Bean Counters and numerous other gems of Club Penguin were conceived.  It's the place where Disney Online Studios, Canada resides.  It's any Club Penguin nerd's dream vacation destination.  But, besides Club Penguin related things, do we really know anything about what goes on there?

Kelowna, Canada is a city where roughly 100,000 people reside.  It was founded by a French Roman Catholic Missionary known as Father Charles M. Pandosy.  It officially became a city on May 4, 1905.

Club Penguin's homeland includes many points of interest, aside from the place where our online game is created.  There is a yearly sports festival in the fall.  Also, there is Lake Okanagan where many believe a monster named Ogopogo (I'm not making this up, people) lives.  This beast, akin to the Loch Ness Monster, is actually quite popular, having been referenced in some TV shows and movies.

There is also an annual competition for wakeboarding named Wakefest.  This event, which includes a music festival, takes place each summer.  Ahem, sound familiar?

Unlike some parts of Canada, Kelowna is not covered in snow all year.  It has warm summers, mild springs and falls, and cold winters.
