G, as many agents call him, has been a staple of Club Penguin for years. He's been with us through thick and thin - through Missions, Field Ops, and parties. But he's been acting a bit different.
It all started in May 2012 with the Medieval Party of that year. Gary started acting like a mad scientist in the Medieval period. Even Rookie was concerned:

After that party concluded G sent out a message to EPF agents:

Things seemed to be fine.
However, flash forward to January 2013. The new penguin designs start appearing and instead of looking like this...

...G looks like this...

He looks a bit crazy, right? More loony, more mad-scientisty (yeah, I make up words for this blog) than his previous neat - with - a - buttoned - up - lab - coat self.
I met him at the Prehistoric Party where he uttered this little piece of information (or at least something incredibly close to it - I'm paraphrasing) after someone mentioned his chilly imprisonment during Operation: Blackout two months prior:
" I haven't been feeling well since then...I think the temperature in the cell was too low. "

Also, during Operation Hot Sauce Gary says something to the effect of:
" What are you doing just standing there? Get going! "
While it is not said meanly, this is out of Gary's usual calm character.
So, could G be scarred from his Medieval and prison experiences? Could this explain his more slightly erratic behavior? And could Club Penguin be trying to make him more of a funny character?
As Billybob would say, Waddle On!

Chillin, I asked Aunt Arctic on February about Gary. She said "Does something happened when he was frozen?" pic.twitter.com/G2RtdHifP2
