Club Penguin Thoughts: The 2013 Teen Beach Movie Dissection

Having written eight other dissection posts this year, it's time for another - the final one in 2013. Let's pick apart the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam, the fourth Disney party this year.

- The Friends Forever symbol is a pin, neck item, and emote at this party. The design is seen on Lela's necklace in the movie (which she gives to McKenzie) and is mentioned a few times. The name is also used as a special safe chat phrase for the party.

- One of the chat suggestions at the party is "We're in a movie!" This is basically Teen Beach Movie's plot in a nutshell.

- There is a gas station and repair shop at the Beach. This references the fact that there is a team of bikers in this movie. This location is not seen in the film, however.

- The exterior of Big Momma's is exactly like the movie's version of the restaurant. However, the cafe is located right next to the ocean in the film, whereas in Club Penguin, it's landlocked.

- The interior of the film's restaurant is also on par with the original version. The tables, chairs, counter, pool tables, door, walls, floor, stage, and even the instruments on the stage before Mack and Brady's performances are all great representations of the "real" Big Momma's.

- Speaking of Big Momma's, the song Mack and Brady (more on them in a bit) sing on the stage in the restaurant every twenty minutes is from the film. It is the first and last song to be sung in the DCOM.

- In Brady's bio, Wet Side Story, the movie within a movie, is mentioned.

- Every single item (aside from one of the two hidden items, the Grass Skirt) is seen in the film at some point. Since images from the film are not readily available, I will not go over every item. However, here are a few general comparisons between the characters and their film counterparts.
