Year 9 in Club Penguin - Predictions
Club Penguin has changed over the 8 years they have been a virtual world. Now, are we able to predict what will come in Club Penguin in Year 9, starting with October 2013 and ending in September 2014?
OCTOBER 2013
Easy to predict, but let's go more in depth! So, we can be pretty sure that there will be a Halloween Party AND Anniversary. Now, let's start with the 8th Year Anniversary. They have been smaller and smaller every year, with the past two years being small inside the Coffee Shop during the Halloween Party. Will that change this year? I think so! If the Halloween Party starts on October 17th, the Thursday of the week they always start it on, it will end on October 30th, a day BEFORE Halloween. So, the Thursday after that is October 24th. Is it possible to make a one week anniversary with a mascot, and then start the Halloween Party on the FRIDAY after it?
Now, onto Halloween. Halloween is always big in Club Penguin. But it seems to be getting bigger. 2007 introduced Candy Hunts and NIGHT OF THE LIVING SLED. 2011 changed the hunt up, where we had to hunt for ghosts and in 2012, we got to BECOME ghosts! What will happen this year? Will Club Penguin transform into a Spooky Ghost Town? I have a feeling they will do something brand new to do with ghosts, and maybe even make Gariwald a mascot. Maybe we will go back into the Dark Chamber from 2010, but discover a brand new part to it!
Also, is it possible we could be seeing Night of the Living Sled 4 this year?

NOVEMBER 2013
November is never big on parties, rather on features. 2005 introduced puffles, 2006 introduced Jet Pack Adventure, 2007 introduced Yellow Puffles and the stage, 2008 introduced Card-Jitsu, 2009 and 2010 introduced CJ Fire and Water. 2011 had a Card-Jitsu Party and 2012 had Operation: Blackout.
We already saw Card-Jitsu Snow this year, so anything Card-Jitsu is out of the question... or is it? Moderator NINJA recently teased Shadow Ninjas. Is there a possibility they will be coming in November this year? It would keep the feature trend. Not only that, but in 2012, Herbert tried to take over the island. BUT WAIT. What if there was Operation Blackout PART 2? That would fit in PERFECT with Shadow Ninjas. Maybe Gary would ask Sensei to master the element of SHADOW to defeat Herbert.

DECEMBER 2013
Holiday Holiday Holiday! I am not gonna spend too much time talking about the Holiday Party, but instead of Coins for Change.
Every year, Club Penguin tries to advertise Coins for Change more and more, with the most recent feature being 'Cookies for Change' So, what will happen THIS YEAR? Will Rockhopper take us to different parts of the GLOBE to learn about the places we are helping? Will he bring the Temple of Coins to Club Penguin? All of these ideas may seem great, but I disagree. Coins for Change is supposed to be about donating from the bottom of your heart, not about buying a cookie purpously donating.
I would prefer if they spend more time on making actual HOLIDAY-themed decor. But, last year they cut popular rooms like the Night Club and the Dance Lounge. Is it possible that they will cut any more rooms out of the party? Or will they revive them?

JANUARY 2014
8 Years, and January has been split into 2. 2006 - 2009 was all about shaking off the winter blues whilst 2010 - 2013 was all about expeditions (yes, Prehistoric counted as an expedition :P). I just have a feeling that those 2 trends are over (they each got 4 years in the spotlight). So what will 2014 bring? A new trend for the next 4 years?
Winter Fiesta was popular, but, is it popular enough to return? I don't think so. Instead, I think they will bring another annual party into Club Penguin. Which one? It is hard to say, but, mixing the two themes of Shaking of the Winter Blues AND Expeditions... what about an annual EGYPTIAN PARTY?
YES! That is a great party idea! And it fits in perfectly in January as well! It would also be a great time to introduce a Gold Puffle, similar to how a Brown Puffle was found at the Wilderness Expedition!

FEBRUARY 2014
Club Penguin doesn't do Valentines Parties, but it is all about love anyways in February! 2009 - 2011 had the Puffle Parties, and 2013 had Hollywood Party (LOVE FOR STARS? See the connection?) So, what will 2014 bring?
I personally think it is safe to say one of two things, both which may seem shocking to you. First choice is a Penguin Games. The Sochi 2014 games will be going on, so why not bring the Penguin Games, a favourite party by many, back, new and improved!
The other one is shocking. The Hollywood Party! This party seemed to be hated, but many loved it (except for that ANNOYING Camera Quest). Seriously, if they can just decorate the island a bit more, this party would be a famed party!

MARCH 2014
Safe to say that the Puffle Party is returning. Which kinda stinks. 2011 and 2012 were awesome feature-wise. BUT 2013 failed miserably. It was bland, only celebrating RAINBOW Puffles (not all puffles) and the Puffle Hotel, a permanent feature, was the main focus of the party.
How could they improve the 2014 Puffle Party? By not having one. It has had its time, but I think its time is over. I think that the St. Patrick's Party could be making a grand return! It is a possibility, especially with all the complaints that many people want it.
BUT WAIT! CP cancelled April Fools in 2012. Seems like they are being strict to one party near the end of the month. So what if the MARCH party was April Fools again (it was once in 2011). But, there could be some new puffle features or games and stuff like that so we are not bored all month xD!

APRIL 2014
Whilst I hate to say it, it seems like the only clear answer is the MARVEL Superhero Takeover. Earth Day is abandoned, and there really isn't anything else for April. Or is there?
This year, we also saw Operation Hot Sauce! So what is Herbert became a villain in the Marvel universe, similar to how he became Darth Herbert?
The only thing is, the MARVEL Superhero Takeover will be kinda bland, and hard to IMPROVE on this year. So are there any more options? Yes there is! A Spring Festival! Club Penguin seems to be putting more generic themed clothing into their catalog lately, opening an unlikely door to this option.

MAY 2014
This is honestly the hardest one to predict. Why? Because Club Penguin moved Medieval over, and I highly doubt the Pirate Party is returning. HOWEVER, there is one option similar to Medieval.
A new PIXAR film, The Good Dinosaur, is coming out. So, while I think us penguins made it clear we don't want takeovers, it is likely another Prehistoric Party will happen, but this time, in actual Club Penguin, not via the Time Trekker. I think the events committee will be inspired by 2013 party, and DECORATE Club Penguin prehistoric-ish!

JUNE 2014
I am not going to spend a lot of time on this. Penguins have made it clear that they want a Summer Kickoff WATER Party. Will they listen? I actually do believe so. They came close with the Summer Jam this year, so is it possible they will fully revive this party next year?
If they do, some features expected to return are the water-slides from this year. And hopefully some classic decor from 2007 and 2008! But that leaves us with one more problem. We haven't officially seen this party since 2008. How will it be graphically updated?

JULY 2014
July is, over 50% of the time, Music Jam. Will it return? I actually do think it will per popular demand, but with modification.
In 2012, the Ultimate Jam was on the island, which was an upgrade of the Music Jam. So that leaves us with a few questions to ask ourselves.
-Will Rocky, CeCe, Brady and/or Mack return?
-Night sky?
-Will it be about dancing or music.
Actually, there is one more option. What if they did an island-wide Dance-a-thon from 2009? Or will there be another Star Wars Takeover featuring Episode Five?

AUGUST 2014
August is another hard month to decide for as it changes EVERY YEAR. BUT, I think that regardless of the party, it will involve Rockhopper.
Island Adventure Party, Regular Adventure Party, Rockhopper's Quest, Pirate Party and even a Camp Penguin are all possibilities. But, I am gonna move away from it. I actually believe that the August Party will be the revival of The Fair. August seems like a better month for the Fair as it is still in summer, and some people are starting to get that annoyed Back-to-School feeling.
Will there be new games? New party rooms? New features? We all hope so because every fair seems to be the same.

SEPTEMBER 2014
This is a hard one to decide for, because it hasn't happened in 2013 yet, but they did announce Medieval. Will Medieval be returning? Hard to say, as once again it has not happened. But I am actually leaning towards NO.
Why? Medieval has run its course dry. It has become fun, but in 2012, it just became repetitive, and I am sure that this year (2013) will be the final one. So, if The Fair returns in August, what are the possibilities?
First off, while it was unpopular, a Monsters University Takeover. It seemed incomplete this year with only 1/5 scare games and 4/6 teams from the movie. AND It matches Back-to-School theme. Could it return?
Second party... A Travel around the world type party, where rooms are decorated as different parts of the world. Education would be hidden, but it wouldn't take away from the fact that there are lots of fun things to see and do.
Last party... what about a revival of Camp Penguin? September is one of the last good camping months, and it would be a lot of fun to see how it changed since 2007.

With all this being said, it is still hard to predict what Year 9 will bring in Club Penguin. Only time will tell!
