Missions:
Missions have appeared in three different places on Club Penguin - the PSA, Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force for the Nintendo DS, and Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force - Herbert's Revenge for the aforementioned system. But, since 2010, there hasn't been any activity in that territory. Happy77 once implied that they could come back in the future (see the first picture below), but nothing has developed further. If another EPF video game came out (see below for my take on the likelihood of that), I believe it would include this style of play. New hope was invigorated in mission fans when it was announced that the EPF would be entering a new phase soon, so who knows where that will take us. I personally would like to see them return, whether in video game, online, or app form and think it is possible.

Video Games:
Club Penguin has released three video games - the two previously mentioned EPF games in November 2008 and May 2010, respectively, and Club Penguin: Game Day for the Nintendo Wii in September 2010. However, besides the Puffle Launch app in 2011, no external games from the online world have been released. While we know apps are still in production, will there ever be another hard-copy video game?

It stands to reason that these video games have sold well - had the first DS game not been successful, it would not have warranted two sequels. In fact, Disney said in 2010 that the original game had sold one million copies in less than a year and a half. That shows large cash earning potential, so I don't see Disney shaking their heads at any more sequels. Also, a Club Penguin producer said in a key note at a 2011 gaming conference that the company wants to be everywhere - meaning Xbox and Playstation products would be plausible.
Personally, I would like to see more video games and would fork out the cash for them.
As Billybob would say, Waddle On!
